Renton offers reward card that’s good all over town

RENTON, Wash. — Reward cards are common at grocery stores and coffee shops, but what if you had one reward card that worked at stores and restaurants all over town?
Renton says it’s “Ahead of the Curve” and now many business owners are putting their money were their mouth is.
The city has introduced the “Curve Card” that’s similar to the reward cards from grocery stores, but carry it with you and get rewards at hundreds of business all over Renton — from big name stores and restaurants at The Landing to a cupcake store downtown and the computer store next door.
“Most places offer anywhere from 10 to 25 percent off depending on what they can do,” said Mary Clymer, whose downtown shop offers 10 percent off.   Read entire story from Komonews.com.
